We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Your duties will include locating items in our warehouse, picking them with precision, and then carefully packing them for shipment. Success in this role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate packing materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting, up to 45 lbs.
- Understand the importance of accuracy and speed in the logistics process.
- Contribute to a culture of Safety and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a related warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring accuracy and speed.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for long periods, and perform frequent Lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics functions.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safe and productive workplace.
