Join our dynamic logistics team as a Material Handler in Seattle, Washington! We are seeking motivated individuals to support the efficient flow of goods within our state-of-the-art distribution facility. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely order fulfillment. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, identifying, and processing incoming materials and products. You'll operate various equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification opportunities available), to move, store, and stage inventory. Your attention to detail will be paramount in accurately scanning and recording inventory movements, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate material handling equipment to move, stack, and unstack merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Perform inventory counts and checks to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety protocols.
- Utilize scanning equipment and warehouse management systems.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the logistics operation.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting up to 50 pounds. Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and steel-toed boots. Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic. A commitment to working safely and efficiently. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. This role is vital to our logistics chain and requires reliable attendance.
