We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Worker for our facility in San Jose, California. This is a vital role within our logistics operations, responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. You will play a key part in ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our warehouse. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and all team members are required to follow strict safety guidelines and utilize appropriate PPE. We seek individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying quantities and checking for damages.
- Stock shelves and storage locations accurately and efficiently.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment based on customer requirements.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock management.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Support overall warehouse and logistics functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed.
