Become a vital part of our fulfillment process as a Picker/Packer in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position demands speed, accuracy, and a strong attention to detail to ensure that customers receive their orders correctly and in excellent condition. You will work in a dynamic logistics environment, contributing to the smooth flow of products. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to follow all established protocols, including the correct use of PPE. This role involves regular Lifting and requires an individual who is comfortable with physical activity throughout their shift.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify item accuracy and quantity against order details.
- Inspect items for any defects or damage.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Follow all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Meet productivity and quality targets.
- Handle moderate Lifting of products, up to 30 pounds, on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Experience in logistics is advantageous.
