Responsibilities:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Move materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated areas.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and tidiness.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents.
- Operate machinery and tools as directed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Support overall logistics operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds consistently.
- Willingness to learn and perform various warehouse tasks.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a good attendance record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment.
- Prior experience in logistics or a similar role is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
Working Conditions:
This role involves significant physical labor in a warehouse setting. Regular lifting, bending, and standing are required. Use of appropriate PPE is mandatory to ensure worker safety. The environment can be physically demanding, but teamwork and adherence to safety protocols make it a rewarding experience.
