Join our vibrant logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas, as a Distribution Center Associate! We are seeking motivated individuals to support our daily warehouse operations. This role involves a variety of essential tasks, including order picking, packing, receiving, stocking, and preparing items for shipment. You will be a key player in ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our facility. We are dedicated to providing a safe and productive work environment, offering thorough training and requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders based on provided documentation.
- Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory in designated areas.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use all required PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety regulations.
- Must be able to wear required PPE comfortably.
