Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk for our Boise, Idaho facility. This role is critical for ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately received, inspected, and processed into our inventory system. You will be the first point of contact for many incoming shipments, playing a vital role in the overall efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain and Logistics operations. A strong commitment to detail, organization, and workplace Safety is essential.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming shipments, verifying quantities and condition against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Unload trucks efficiently and safely, using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks.
  • Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, documenting any issues found.
  • Accurately record received items into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Stage received goods for put-away or further processing.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments regarding receiving activities and discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to all housekeeping and Safety standards.
  • Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including mandatory use of PPE .
  • Ensure all safety regulations are followed to create a secure working environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or a related Logistics role is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to learn WMS software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to Safety and a commitment to following all safety protocols.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE , such as safety vests and gloves.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
