Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train warehouse associates to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies.
  • Manage the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations within the facility.
  • Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, ensuring all team members are equipped with and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to ensure adequate stock.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Conduct regular safety training and inspections to maintain a secure workplace.
  • Ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely dispatch of goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to facilitate smooth operations and prevent accidents.
  • Manage staff scheduling and workload distribution to meet operational demands.
  • Contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations through proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by operations management.
This role requires significant attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ability to motivate a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure is crucial. We are committed to workplace safety and expect all supervisors to lead by example in adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques.
