We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment to fulfill orders. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will be handling a variety of products and ensuring their quality before dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Utilize RF scanners and other equipment to locate and track inventory.
- Repackage items as needed for safe transport.
- Ensure picked items are staged correctly for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and checks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and RF scanners.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
