We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Picker at our large distribution center in Houston, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders. Your main duties will involve using a voice-directed picking system or handheld scanner to locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves, ensuring order accuracy and completeness. This position requires a high level of focus, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and capable of performing physical tasks, including Lifting merchandise of varying weights. Responsibilities include interpreting pick tickets, navigating through aisles, verifying item numbers, and preparing picked items for packing and shipment. Maintaining an organized and safe work area is also crucial. All employees are expected to strictly adhere to company safety policies and wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
