We are seeking a diligent and efficient Order Picker for our bustling warehouse in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders by accurately locating and retrieving products from designated warehouse locations. Your ability to work quickly and accurately, utilizing a handheld scanner, will directly impact our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This is a physically demanding position that requires a good level of stamina and the ability to handle materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of performance. Responsibilities include interpreting pick lists, navigating the warehouse to find items, verifying product information, and staging orders for packing and shipping. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records through diligent picking practices. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount, and all employees are required to follow strict safety guidelines and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will also be involved in some light assembly of orders and ensuring that picked items are ready for the next stage of the logistics process. Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus.
