We are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Miami, Florida. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our facility. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Stock inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requirements and shipping labels.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE and safety.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of using appropriate PPE.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand labels and instructions.
