Our Miami, Florida distribution center is seeking energetic and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our logistics team. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from our warehouse inventory and carefully packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy are key to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining smooth operations. You will utilize scanning devices and follow specific order instructions to fulfill customer orders. This position requires an ability to work quickly on your feet, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a high level of accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick merchandise from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanner data.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding work area.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for extended periods.
- Capability to lift items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.
