We are seeking an organized and diligent Receiving Clerk to join our Cincinnati, Ohio team. This position is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately received, inspected, and processed. You will be responsible for verifying shipments against purchase orders, documenting received items, and coordinating the timely movement of goods to their designated storage locations. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, is proficient in data entry, and maintains a strong commitment to workplace Safety. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from vendors and carriers.
- Verify quantities and quality of received goods against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect deliveries for damage and report any issues immediately.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Tag and label received items appropriately.
- Coordinate the movement of received goods to appropriate storage areas or departments.
- Maintain organized receiving and dock areas.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal staff.
- Support the overall logistics and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols.
