We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, Texas. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution center. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and have a commitment to workplace safety. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and manage inventory.
- Accurately pick, pack, and ship orders according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, following all safety protocols.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to Safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to perform strenuous tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
