Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Locate products within the warehouse and ensure correct item and quantity are selected.
- Verify picked items against order documentation for accuracy.
- Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Pack picked items into appropriate containers for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Communicate any stock discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Contribute to team goals by meeting or exceeding picking productivity standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and labels.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Capability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
- Must be able to manage frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of general logistics and warehouse safety practices is a must.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
