You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular cycle counts, and ensuring the overall integrity of our inventory data. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Record and update inventory transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS) promptly and accurately.
- Track the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring proper documentation.
- Receive, identify, and put away incoming stock efficiently.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse storage areas, ensuring optimal layout and accessibility.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock or overstock situations to management.
- Ensure all inventory handling and storage procedures comply with company standards and safety regulations.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, especially when handling materials.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary inventory reports.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control, stockroom management, or a similar role is required.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or WMS.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to perform accurate data entry and analysis.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices in logistics.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of safe lifting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude towards identifying issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
