We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or electronic pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects, reporting any issues to a supervisor.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, using correct packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing packages and preparing them for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and operational efficiency.
- Understand and follow all shipping and receiving procedures.
- Contribute to team goals and maintain a positive attitude.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and pick lists.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management concepts is beneficial.
