We are seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will perform a variety of general labor tasks to support the efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics activities. Responsibilities include receiving and unloading incoming shipments, organizing and stocking inventory, preparing outgoing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment. A commitment to safety is paramount, and all employees are expected to follow established safety procedures and utilize appropriate PPE. Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive incoming merchandise.
- Sort, organize, and stock inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack items for outgoing shipments.
- Load and prepare outgoing orders for delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including sweeping and tidying work areas.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including safe lifting practices and the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Perform general labor tasks as required to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Attention to detail.
- Punctuality and good attendance record.
