Our dynamic distribution center in Sacramento, California, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and motivate our warehouse team. This critical role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to all Safety standards. The Warehouse Supervisor will manage inventory, optimize workflow, train and develop staff, and maintain high productivity levels. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing warehouse policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe operating practices. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of warehouse management and Logistics . While direct Lifting may be less frequent for supervisors, the ability to assist and demonstrate proper techniques for lifting up to 50 lbs is expected. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy.
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff.
- Ensure all operations adhere to strict Safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Oversee the successful execution of Logistics plans.
- Champion a culture of Safety and ensure compliance with all PPE requirements.
- Demonstrate understanding of safe manual handling and assist with tasks involving occasional Lifting .
