Join our vibrant logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as an Order Picker. This position is critical to our operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for navigating our warehouse, locating specified products, and preparing them for the packing and shipping stages. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall productivity of our distribution center. A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to company protocols are essential for success in this role. You will be a key player in our supply chain, contributing to the seamless delivery of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or designated staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety rules and procedures.
- Proper and consistent use of required PPE is mandatory.
- Must be comfortable with Lifting items up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive physical tasks.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics fulfillment process.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
