We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. Your expertise will ensure the smooth flow of goods and contribute directly to the success of our operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating various types of forklifts, a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will be expected to perform pre-operation checks on equipment, handle materials with care to prevent damage, and accurately track inventory movements. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Adherence to all company policies and **PPE** requirements is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move palletized goods.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
- Follow all **safety** guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of **logistics** and warehouse operations.
- Excellent **safety** record and awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
