We're searching for dependable Order Pickers to join our bustling warehouse in Houston, Texas! As an Order Picker, you will be crucial in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This role is a key component of our extensive logistics network, requiring precision and efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will involve using order sheets and RF scanners to locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse shelves. You will also be responsible for verifying item counts and ensuring products are ready for the packing process. Safety is our utmost priority; therefore, strict adherence to all Safety regulations and the correct utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This is a fantastic opportunity to enter the logistics field with a company that values its employees. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using pick lists and RF scanners.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product condition.
- Stage picked items in the designated area for quality control and packing.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through diligent picking practices.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisory staff.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment goals and logistics efficiency.
Requirements:
- Must be capable of frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime and weekends.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills.
