As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and ensuring they are packed securely and efficiently for shipment. Your work is vital to our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Key duties include using RF scanners to locate and retrieve products, verifying item accuracy, and preparing orders for dispatch. We prioritize a safe work environment; therefore, adherence to all Safety guidelines and proper use of PPE is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using an RF scanner.
- Verify picked items against order slips to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders according to specific guidelines, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Identify and report any damaged or missing items.
- Stage packed orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory counts and put-away processes as needed.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment efficiency.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent Lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
- Must wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
