We are hiring for a Distribution Center Associate at our San Francisco, California facility. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, involving a range of tasks that ensure our products reach our customers efficiently and accurately. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. A commitment to Safety, quality, and teamwork is essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality.
- Stock inventory in designated areas, maintaining organization and accessibility.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent Lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems are beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and following guidelines.
