Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our bustling warehouse team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders by picking items from warehouse shelves and packing them securely for shipment. Your precision and speed are crucial to our customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations. You will work in a dynamic environment, utilizing scanning equipment and adhering to strict quality control standards. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order details.
  • Use RF scanners or other technology to track inventory and confirm picks.
  • Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
  • Label packages accurately for shipment.
  • Operate packing equipment, such as tape machines and box sealers.
  • Replenish picking locations as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
  • Proficiency with RF scanners and other warehouse technology is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Understanding of safe lifting practices.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to quality.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
