Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, reconciling stock levels, and implementing inventory control procedures to optimize efficiency. This position requires a sharp analytical mind, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. We are committed to ensuring a safe working environment for all employees, mandating the strict use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety regulations. While this role is primarily analytical, there may be instances requiring physical activity, including occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between system data and physical stock.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report on potential shortages or overages.
- Identify and tag damaged or obsolete inventory.
- Assist with the receiving and put-away process to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure a clean and organized warehouse environment, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in tasks requiring occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or logistics.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to perform occasional lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
