We are seeking a skilled and certified Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be tasked with loading and unloading,’” and transporting materials within the facility. A strong commitment to safety protocols and warehouse best practices is essential for this role. The Forklift Operator will work closely with the warehouse supervisor and other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent *Lifting* up to 50 pounds, and requires attention to detail to prevent damage to goods and equipment. Ensuring all *Safety* regulations are followed, including the proper use of *PPE*, is paramount. You will be expected to maintain equipment in good working order and report any mechanical issues promptly. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. This role is critical to our *Logistics* operations, contributing directly to the efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all *Safety* guidelines and procedures.
- Wear appropriate *PPE* at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Safely transport goods between different areas of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform heavy *Lifting* (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse *Logistics* and material handling.
- Commitment to workplace *Safety* and the use of *PPE*.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
