We are looking for a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our warehousing and logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This position requires a high degree of precision, excellent spatial awareness, and a strong commitment to operational efficiency and Safety . You will ensure that inventory is stored correctly, aisles are kept clear, and that all movements are conducted safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trailers, replenishing stock, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate possesses a valid reach truck certification or equivalent experience, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and a proven ability to work safely in a busy environment. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE ) is mandatory. This role involves moderate physical activity, including some standing, walking, and occasional Lifting . Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload palletized freight from trucks and trailers.
- Move, stack, and store inventory in designated locations.
- Replenish pick locations with stock as needed.
- Conduct daily pre-operational checks on equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent operation.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE .
- Assist with Lifting and manual tasks as needed.
- Support overall Logistics and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid reach truck certification or equivalent operational experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics procedures.
- Strong understanding of forklift and reach truck Safety protocols.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including occasional Lifting .
- Must wear required PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
