Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Sacramento, California. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing staff, and ensuring efficiency and productivity. Your leadership will be key to maintaining a safe, organized, and effective logistics environment. You will direct workflow, train and mentor team members, and implement best practices in inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive team culture. Safety is a top priority, and you will be responsible for enforcing all Safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure adherence to all Safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and responsible work practices.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and Safety standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure accuracy of records.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency and productivity within the logistics chain.
  • Operate and ensure safe use of material handling equipment.
  • Conduct regular Safety inspections and address any hazards or risks promptly.
  • Implement and enforce the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all staff.
  • Monitor and manage workload to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance overall warehouse performance.
  • Ensure proper techniques for Lifting and material handling are followed to prevent injuries.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or lead role. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively. Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software. Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices, including PPE requirements. Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting, as needed. Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
