In this role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing essential tasks related to the movement and processing of goods. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, stocking inventory, accurately picking and packing orders, and preparing them for dispatch. A steadfast commitment to safety is crucial; all team members must follow established safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). This position requires physical capability, including regular lifting and standing, to manage warehouse operations effectively. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming inventory accurately.
- Organize and store products efficiently within the warehouse.
- Select and retrieve items from inventory for customer orders.
- Pack items carefully and appropriately to ensure safe delivery.
- Process outgoing shipments, including labeling and creating necessary documents.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and secure work area.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational demands.
- Support the overall logistics process with speed and accuracy.
- Undertake additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with general warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
