The IT Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions that align with AmeriLife's strategic goals. This role will serve as a key technical contributor within the IT Applications & Architecture team, responsible for defining architectural standards, guiding stakeholders, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing systems across the organization. Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and architecture of complex IT solutions across multiple platforms and business domains. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance processes. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to support innovation and efficiency. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring alignment with architectural vision. Oversee solution integration, data flow, and system interoperability across AmeriLife's technology ecosystem. Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance requirements. Partner with infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to support deployment and operational readiness. Drive continuous improvement in solution delivery and architecture maturity. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in solutions architecture or technical leadership role. Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions, including large-scale web applications or internet portals Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), microservices, APIs, and modern development frameworks. Experience with enterprise systems such as CRM, Portals, and data platforms. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
