Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Automation: Configure, build, stage, and deploy network and firewall infrastructure using "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC) principles.
Security Architecture: Design and implement solutions that improve boundary security while balancing business operational needs.
Operational Excellence: Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize core networking functions (routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP).
Strategy & Reporting: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to execute strategic security plans; provide clear, management-level status reports on progress and risk.
Deep Analysis: Utilize expertise in packet analysis and system security controls to proactively identify vulnerabilities and risks.
Qualifications Technical Proficiency: * Hands-on experience with Network Architecture, Firewall technologies, and deep-packet analysis.
Strong command of Linux and Windows Server environments.
Expertise in scripting and automation (Python, Ansible, Puppet).
Deep understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, SPANs).
Experience & Soft Skills: * Proven experience in risk management decision-making.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional team environments under tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills suitable for executive-level reporting.
Certifications (Strongly Desired): * Industry-standard security and cloud certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Sec+, CCNP, CEH, AWS, or Azure).
