Your Role and Responsibilities As a Commerce Solutions Architect, you will spearhead the strategic design and implementation of scalable, high-performance commerce platforms. Your role is crucial in modernizing commerce systems, promoting operational agility, and fostering business growth in both digital and physical channels. Your key responsibilities will include: Design Commerce Architectures:
Utilize your deep expertise in enterprise architecture and digital commerce ecosystems to create microservices-based architectures that align with enterprise goals and enhance customer experiences. Implement End-to-End Solutions:
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define and launch end-to-end cloud-native commerce solutions that are resilient and extensible. Select and Integrate Platforms:
Choose and integrate headless commerce platforms like commercetools and Elastic Path to enhance real-time inventory, pricing, promotions, and order management capabilities. Orchestrate APIs:
Design and implement APIs to ensure seamless integrations with various systems, allowing for real-time data exchange and optimized commerce operations. Ensure Cloud-Native Solutions:
Leverage containerization, serverless computing, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver scalable, secure commerce solutions. Required Technical and Professional Expertise To succeed, you should have: Proven experience in enterprise architecture, specifically designing and implementing scalable, high-performance commerce platforms. Technical proficiency in microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless computing, and CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience with headless commerce platforms and their integration. Experience in API design and implementation for seamless system integrations. A track record in leveraging cloud-native technologies to build secure, scalable solutions aligned with business objectives. Please Note:
This position requires a Federal Tier 3 Secret clearance. You must either possess this clearance now or be eligible to obtain it after being hired. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Additional qualifications that would enhance your candidacy include: In-depth knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with serverless computing and its relevance in commerce solutions design. Experience with CI/CD pipelines to streamline solution delivery.
