About This Role: Comscore is searching for an exceptional engineering leader who is detail-oriented and highly responsible. This position will focus on the development and maintenance of large-scale client applications and distributed systems while providing leadership and mentorship to technical team members. You will enhance codebases and architectures with an emphasis on stability, reliability, data integrity, and maintainability. The ideal candidate will proactively navigate technical challenges, identify risks, and collaborate effectively across teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. What You'll Do: Lead product development initiatives, translating business needs into clear technical requirements. Contribute to long-term system architecture, reliability, and overall technical strategy. Develop and enhance web and software applications using React (including Class Components), JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux, C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server. Implement and support authentication workflows (MSAL, Okta). Troubleshoot and support build, release, deployment, and production processes. Mentor and guide developers and/or QA team members, including conducting code reviews and providing task guidance. Ensure high technical quality and inspire teams to achieve high performance. Collaborate across engineering and business groups to address challenges and deliver key projects. Proactively identify and mitigate risks. Manage multiple projects to ensure timely, stable delivery across cloud environments, including Azure App Services, App Registrations, and File Storage. What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of systems development experience;
or
a Master's degree with 3+ years of systems development experience. 3-5 years' experience with Comscore offerings and research methods. 1-2 years' experience supervising and/or mentoring others. Experience working with large volumes of data. Proficiency in multiple programming languages. Demonstrated leadership and strategic vision. Strong communication skills. Technical Skills Required: Expertise in React (Class Components preferred) and Redux. Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with CSS, NPM/Node, and Webpack. Experience implementing authentication with MSAL and/or Okta. Proficient in C#, ASP.NET Core APIs. Familiarity with SQL Server 2016+ and build/release pipelines, including YAML-based configurations. Experience managing variables, release triggers, and approval workflows. Skills in diagnosing build and deployment failures. Experience deploying to cloud environments. Familiarity with Azure App Services, App Registrations, and File Storage (including mounted storage). Salary:
$153,000-$173,000; commensurate with experience.
