Job Title: Software Design Engineer 2
Location: Redmond, WA - Onsite
Pay Range: $51.28 - $56.44 on Experis W2 (Benefits/PTO/401k)
Hard Skills:
Software Development (React, NodeJS) - 2+ years
Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and cloud computing principles, with hands-on experience in Azure services. - 2+ years
Proficiency in writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha or PlayWright.
What's the Job?
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, distributed Node.js applications on Azure Kubernetes.
Create and enhance user interfaces for web applications built using React.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
Implement best practices for software development, including test-driven development, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability, supporting on-call duties as needed.
What's Needed?
At least 2+ years of experience in software development, focusing on backend development with Node.js.
Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and cloud computing principles, with hands-on experience in Azure services.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or PlayWright.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges.
