Join Our Team as an Orthopedic Surgeon – Arthroplasty in Mather, California

VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in Arthroplasty to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our nation’s Veterans. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, well-resourced environment within the greater Sacramento region.

Position Highlights:
• Focus on primary and revision arthroplasty , with opportunities to support general orthopedic procedures
• Dedicated OR block time supported by experienced anesthesia and surgical staff
• Access to advanced imaging, multidisciplinary teams, and on-site specialty services
• Opportunity for academic involvement with regional partners (if desired)
• Balanced schedule with protected administrative time

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients requiring joint replacement care
• Perform operative and non-operative orthopedic services including total joint procedures
• Participate in call coverage and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain compliance with VHA policies, documentation standards, and quality measures
• Engage in teaching, committee work, or process improvement initiatives as appropriate

Qualifications:
• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Arthroplasty (strongly preferred)
• Unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
• U.S. citizenship (required)
