Location: Houston, TX (On-Site Downtown) Type: Contract (12 Months) Schedule: 5/10 Schedule (Overtime after 10 hours pre-approved) We are seeking a Data Analyst III to support the Controls team with advanced data analysis related to project accounting and contractor invoice verification. This role will work with large datasets to validate costs, analyze payment data, and develop reporting tools that support financial oversight and project decision-making. Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced data analysis to support project accounting and invoice processing activities. Build and maintain Excel databases and workbooks to analyze high-volume contractor invoices across multiple data sources. Organize and structure datasets for use in Power BI or similar analytics tools. Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support management decision-making. Analyze contract terms, cost drivers, and payment variances related to project contracts. Support the Project Controller with additional financial and data analysis activities. Ensure compliance with contract terms and invoice verification processes. Interface with contractors, project teams, and internal or external auditors as needed. Required Qualifications
Strong experience in data analysis and financial/project data reporting. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar analytics tools. Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources. Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
