The IT Desktop Support role provides help and expertise across all software platforms and computing equipment within the Gaylor technology environment. Position Requirements

Maintains appropriate records, files, and documentation Responds to support requests and takes necessary steps to resolve problems Documents support issues and solutions Remote problem-solving through use of remote connection tools Diagnoses Windows and PC hardware issues Laptop, tablet, cell phone configurations and deployments Basic troubleshooting of LAN and connectivity issues Performs data migrations and assists in data restorations on local devices Working Conditions
Must be able to work scheduled hours as well as overtime, as required, on short notice Must be able to remain calm in times of heightened emotional situations Must work well with others as a member of a team to complete tasks Physical Requirements
Must be able to wear personnel protective equipment (i.e., hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high visibility vest, safety harness, etc.) when required Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers Possess good vision/hearing (normal or corrected) Ability to work while sitting or standing for long periods Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times Education
CompTIA A+ preferred; may be obtained within first year of employment Experience
Previous desktop support or IT helpdesk experience preferred
