This program requires US Citizenship We are seeking team members to support the Network Administration team by providing technical expertise to Network Administrators and System Administrators. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining the current infrastructure, improving system performance, and automating system administration processes. This position also develops algorithms used in modules or models supporting research and development across one or more of the following areas: Traditional circuit-switched networks Data networks Access technologies Wireless systems Transport media Network protocols Network operations Resource management and provisioning Traffic and performance modeling Responsibilities Provide technical support to Network Administrators and System Administrators, including infrastructure monitoring, performance optimization, and automation of system administration tasks. Contribute to the design of the organization's network and mission architecture. Conduct Computer Network Defense (CND) operations; plan and install network upgrades; support network design; and perform quality assurance and quality control. Configure and maintain network diagrams and accreditation documentation. Integrate hardware and software solutions to meet ISO 9000 requirements and applicable DoD/IC regulations. Oversee support for all network equipment. Support integration of the analytic platform into the CND CDC. Resolve complex network issues and operate network analyzers, WAN test equipment, and network simulators. Design modules representing traditional circuit-switched networks. Lead large-scale installation projects with dynamic requirements. Develop algorithms for models using networking and/or telecommunications technologies and systems. Qualifications Required Education & Experience Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related discipline, and 10 years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support; or Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline and 12 years of relevant professional experience; or No degree: An additional six (6) years of relevant Network Engineering experience may be substituted for a total of 16 years of experience. Required Certifications Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III baseline certification (DoD 8570.01-M) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
