Job Description:
Pay Range: $70hr - $75hr
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions within a financial services or insurance environment. The role involves building custom components, configuring platform features, developing integrations, and ensuring performance, security, and compliance. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to high-quality Agile delivery. Responsibilities:
Design and develop Salesforce components including Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce pages, and integration services following established standards. Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, flows, approval processes, validation rules, page layouts, and security models to meet business requirements. Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST and SOAP services and API frameworks. Support testing cycles by resolving defects and validating end-to-end user journeys. Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of Salesforce applications in alignment with platform best practices. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Work within Agile frameworks, provide status updates, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies. Requirement/Must Have:
Hands-on experience in Salesforce development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, and asynchronous processing models. Strong experience in Salesforce configuration including data models, flows, security settings, and automation features. Knowledge of Salesforce Clouds relevant to financial services. Understanding of insurance processes including policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, and customer servicing workflows. Experience with API integrations, authentication protocols, and enterprise integration patterns. Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Git-based version control, secure coding standards, and deployment automation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience:
Professional experience in Salesforce development within financial services or insurance environments. Experience working in regulated enterprise environments. Experience collaborating with distributed teams. Should Have:
Relevant Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, Administrator, or Consultant credentials. Prior project experience within financial services or insurance domains. Skills:
pex development and Lightning Web Components. Salesforce configuration and customization. REST and SOAP integrations. CI/CD and version control practices. Insurance domain knowledge. gile delivery practices. Qualification And Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Salesforce certifications preferred.
