Install, administer, and maintain schema and data for maximum availability.
Analyze and resolve issues related to server hardware and application software.
Monitor and optimize data lake ingestion processes to ensure efficiency.
Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation for critical database support.
Engage in Disaster Recovery planning and conduct testing exercises to ensure preparedness.
Experience You’ll Bring A minimum of 2 years of overall IT experience, particularly in SaaS or web development.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in SQL Server database administration.
Some familiarity with managing SQL Server databases in Azure.
Experience using Azure DevOps for project management.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
Desired Additional Qualifications: Experience with SQL system DMVs to identify and troubleshoot performance issues.
Skills in tuning or refactoring stored procedures for improved performance.
Knowledge of supporting SQL Server Availability Groups.
Experience with SQL Server 2019 or newer.
Familiarity with ETL tools and data management.
Understanding of industry-standard change and incident management procedures.
A self-starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
The base pay range for this position is $80,000.00 - $97,600.00. Actual pay rates may vary based on your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
