PIR's data analytics department supports the organization in managing, understanding, and acting upon its business data. The department promotes data-driven decisions through data visualization, data science, data engineering, and data management.
The Data Analytics Associate will engage in analyzing various datasets to discover patterns and insights. These datasets may include complex domain name, internet Infrastructure, financial and/or other business data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Projects
The Associate will:
Work with business leaders and subject matter experts to understand the problem space. Gain experience in data preparation, working with structured datasets to find and prepare relevant data as needed for the project. Conduct data analysis and validation t as needed for the project. Visualize results. Present process and results to varying levels of the organization. Additional Responsibilities

The Associate will gain:
end-to-end analytics lifecycle experience from discovery to deployment. communication skills with opportunity to present at all levels of the organization. knowledge of operational aspects of the internet domain name ecosystem. Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements
Ability to work remotely and work in a team environment. Interest in analytics, which may include: SQL, R/Python (academic or hands on experience). Academic or hands-on experience with visualization tools. Academic or hands-on experience with machine learning techniques such as clustering, classification. Academic or hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies. Enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university majoring in analytics, computer science, statistics, information systems or related field. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Ability to access information using a computer for up to 4 hours at a time. Requires sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods of time. Requires mobility within the office.
