If so this exciting role could be for you! Or client is recruiting for a Design Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation. This role sits within a specialist product engineering team responsible for delivering technically sound solutions to meet customer application requirements. You’ll play a key role in developing engineered solutions, managing technical aspects of new product introduction, and supporting commercial and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop technical solutions and supporting rationale for customer applications.
* Manage technical elements of design and new product introduction activities.
* Provide technical support across engineering, sales, and applications teams.
* Compile and manage technical and commercial proposals.
* Deliver training and technical presentations internally and to customers.
* Support marketing and promotional activities such as exhibitions or client visits.
Skills & Experience
* Background in manufacturing or engineering environments is essential.
* Strong problem-solving ability with a customer-focused mindset.
* Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with clients.
