Data & Analytics BI Product Manager
to spearhead the enhancement of our data and analytics capabilities within the
Telecom Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) . This role serves as the essential link between business and technical teams, translating business requirements into impactful data and reporting solutions that yield actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of
telecom business processes and KPIs , in addition to hands-on expertise in
data modeling, BI development, and analytics platforms
including
FiveTran, Snowflake, Matillion, Tableau, and Secoda . Responsibilities Product & Delivery Management : Act as the
product owner
for Telecom EDW and BI capabilities by defining, prioritizing, and delivering a strategic roadmap aligned with business goals. Lead the
requirement gathering and elaboration
for data, reporting, and analytics use cases across various functions like network, customer, billing, sales, and operations. Manage the backlog, sprint planning, and delivery timelines for EDW and BI projects. Coordinate efforts with
data engineers, data modelers, and BI developers
to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of solutions. Stakeholder & Business Engagement Serve as the primary contact between
business stakeholders and technical teams , ensuring clear communication, alignment, and realization of value. Collaborate with business units to establish
key metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards . Engage in
data-driven discussions
to validate requirements, interpret analytical results, and convey insights effectively. Simplify complex data concepts into business-friendly terminology for both executive and operational stakeholders. Analytics, Reporting & Visualization Oversee the design, development, and deployment of
dashboards and reports in Tableau , ensuring their accuracy, usability, and consistency across the organization. Define and uphold
data definitions, hierarchies, and governance standards
in collaboration with data management teams. Work with business analysts to enhance self-service analytics capabilities. Promote the adoption of standardized BI assets to create a unified source of truth. Technical & Data Understanding Collaborate with engineering teams on
data ingestion and transformation pipelines
(FiveTran, Matillion, Snowflake). Guide
data modeling principles
(staging, core, and presentation layers) to meet analytical and reporting requirements. Utilize
Secoda
for efficient data cataloging, lineage documentation, and metadata management. Engage in
data quality initiatives
to ensure accuracy and trust in analytical outputs. Governance & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with the
data governance
team to ensure compliance with enterprise data standards and policies. Identify opportunities for automation, data reutilization, and improved operational efficiency. Monitor BI system performance and user engagement, proposing enhancements as necessary. Stay informed about
industry trends and emerging technologies
in data and analytics. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline . 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI Product Management, or Data Product Ownership , preferably in the
Telecom sector . Proven expertise in: Tableau
(dashboard design and visualization best practices) Snowflake
(schema understanding and data organization) FiveTran
and
Matillion
(familiarity with ETL/ELT processes) Secoda
(or similar tools for data cataloging and documentation) Strong comprehension of
data modeling concepts
(star/snowflake schemas, fact/dimension tables). Experience with
Telecom KPIs
such as subscriber metrics, churn, ARPU, and network utilization. Solid knowledge of
SQL
with the ability to interpret and validate analytical queries. Demonstrated capability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and balance competing business needs. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with
Agile/Scrum
methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). Familiarity with
data governance frameworks
and
metadata management practices . Previous involvement in a
Telecom EDW or analytics transformation program . Exposure to
data observability ,
dbt , or
data quality frameworks
is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail. Strategic thinker able to connect technical capabilities with business value. Adept at working cross-functionally in fast-paced, evolving environments. Passionate about data-driven decision-making and business intelligence excellence.
