Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design and develop innovative solutions utilizing the latest technologies and design practices to ensure scalability, extensibility, and flexibility. Create and deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations to both internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with internal and external resources to enhance open source projects and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Engage with internal teams to architect technical solutions, facilitate design processes, and oversee implementations. Work closely with delivery teams to ensure that solutions are implementable by operations teams. Mentor and guide Solution Architects, integrating contributions across the team while supporting their professional growth. Work with pricing and delivery teams to assess solution viability and cost-effectiveness. Lead key solution components or technical volumes on capture teams. Transform client requirements into actionable solution elements and architectural designs. Oversee large, complex initiatives of strategic importance, coordinating cross-functional teams. Collaborate with business leaders, customers, and other stakeholders to comprehend priorities and limitations. Build trust and credibility with customers by delivering tailored solutions that meet their needs. Support technology transitions for teams, fostering training and adoption to ensure successful implementation. Review and assist in the development of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, including writing whitepapers and concept development. Provide technical solution support during the proposal process, detailing technology stacks, solution architectures, and implementation methodologies. Solution Strategy & Innovation: Lead strategy and solution design for high-priority government projects. Identify technical win themes and differentiators for competitive proposals. Utilize Maximus Accelerators and reusable components to enhance capabilities. Promote innovation through emerging technologies and best practices. Conduct market analyses to develop strategies that adapt to industry trends. Facilitate solution reviews with executive leadership and subject matter experts. Technical Leadership & Business Alignment: Design robust, scalable solutions using cutting-edge technologies. Supervise RFI, RFP, and RFQ response development, including whitepaper creation. Develop estimation models and pricing strategies for solutions. Collaborate with capture managers to shape opportunities prior to the RFP process. Guide junior architects and provide technical expertise across teams. Ensure solutions comply with requirements and align with customer needs. Develop transition plans that address operational readiness and implementation. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree is preferred. 10+ years of experience in technical IT, specifically in solution development. Additional relevant experience may substitute for degree requirements. Technical & Business Skills: Comprehensive understanding of the government IT landscape and compliance needs. Experience in estimation techniques and developing competitive solutions. Expertise in one or more technology areas (cloud, cybersecurity, AI/ML, etc.). Knowledge of security standards, compliance frameworks, and risk management. Familiarity with government proposal processes and competitive analysis. Leadership & Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentation experience. Adept at articulating complex technical concepts to varied audiences. Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff. Ability to influence stakeholders and promote new practices. Adaptable in dynamic, fast-paced environments across multiple time zones. Eligibility to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances. Must be a U.S. Citizen per program requirements. Compensation:
Minimum Salary: $188,000.00; Maximum Salary: $250,000.00. EEO Statement:
