Staking Platform Our primary goal is to build platform services that enable high-quality staking products for retail and institutional clients. With this, users can earn dividends on their crypto investments while simultaneously enhancing security and decentralization within blockchain networks. This initiative represents Coinbase's third-largest revenue source, generating over $700 million annually and is less susceptible to market fluctuations. The Coinbase Staking Data Team is vital in supporting our staking products by developing and managing reliable blockchain data pipelines and APIs. This team guarantees the accuracy and scalability of staking data, incorporates new blockchain assets, and supports the creation of APY-boosting technology. By tackling complex technical challenges, we ensure seamless staking experiences for both retail and institutional users, playing a crucial role in the expansion of decentralized finance. What you'll be doing: Partner with various teams across the company to integrate our services.
Engage in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to uphold high coding standards.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
What we look for in you: A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience.
Familiarity with GoLang and Ruby is advantageous.
Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services with a good understanding of service-oriented architecture.
Experience in breaking down large software systems is a plus.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
You are dedicated to writing high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.
Strong attention to detail.
A genuine passion for constructing an open financial system that unites the world.
Nice to Haves: Background in cryptocurrency.
Experience with Solana data, indexing, and scaling large systems.
Previous engagement with crypto-related activities, including interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and participating in decentralized applications or blockchain-based services.
