This database engineer position requires expertise in window functions in SQL, SQL query optimization, and advanced SQL skills. Demonstrated experience with SQL, including advanced SQL techniques and window functions. Proven ability to optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency. Utilize SQL to write DDL and DML commands, incorporating advanced techniques such as Indexes, Triggers, CTEs(Common Table Expression), Views, Procedures, UDFs(User Defined Function), and Window Functions. Efficient in executing queries, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting issues.
5+ years of working experience in Database engineering and database management using SQL, DWH, Data engineering, Python, AWS, Redshift, Glue, and Informatica. Should be very strong with Python. Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. Strong experience in advanced SQL, query optimization, and performance improvements Database Concepts (SQL, Joins, Normalization). SQL (complex queries, store procedures, partitions, PL/SQL, cursors). Possess expertise in writing and tuning, views, stored procedures, and functions. Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. Experience with AWS technologies stack including S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena.
