A leading health system based in central Tennessee is now seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer Epic to join their award-winning healthcare team!
This leading medical center serves the Upper Cumberland region with comprehensive care across heart and vascular, cancer treatment, orthopedics and spine, women's health and maternity, neurology, rehabilitation, advanced imaging and lab services, robotic and minimally invasive surgery, and a 24/7 emergency department. Reporting to the Director Information Services, the Business Intelligence Developer Epic sought to drive healthcare analytics by designing, building, and optimizing Epic Clarity/Caboodle data models, SQL queries, and ETL pipelines to power enterprise dashboards and operational reports. Daily responsibilities include designing, development, maintenance, and support of reports, dashboards, and data extracts within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. This role heavily involves hospital and healthcare reporting, including translating clinical and operational needs into accurate, actionable analytics. This position utilizes SQL and related reporting tools to develop, validate, and optimize queries, reports, and data extracts, ensuring data integrity, performance, and alignment with organizational standards. The Business Intelligence Developer Epic will collaborate closely with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to deliver timely and meaningful data solutions. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Degree in a related information services, business, or healthcare administration setting Experience with hospital reporting systems, data abstraction, and data optimization Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting
