Your Role and Responsibilities In this exciting role, you will facilitate engaging experiences for our clients, accelerating their transformation journeys. You will help define requirements and make crucial technical decisions that greatly influence business outcomes while collaborating with diverse teams to maximize our hybrid cloud and AI solutions. Your main responsibilities will include: Cloud Expertise:
Develop and apply cutting-edge hybrid cloud skills, including AI, analytics, DevOps, and security, while gaining a deep understanding of your clients' businesses.
Value Communication:
Articulate the unique value propositions of IBM's technology from both technical and commercial perspectives.
Technical Leadership:
Guide client sessions utilizing a diverse range of public and hybrid cloud technologies such as Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
Solution Support:
Be a hands-on builder during client engagements, guiding architectural decisions that align with platform best practices.
Transition to Deployment:
Collaborate closely with deployment teams to ensure a seamless transition for the production deployment of platform assets.
To excel in this role, you will need: Confidence in reaching out to potential clients and delivering exceptional experiences.
A drive to achieve sales targets while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by an agile mindset.

This position is based in one of the following IBM offices: Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Raleigh, NC; San Francisco, CA; or Washington, DC. Be prepared for travel up to 50% annually. Please note, IBM will not provide visa sponsorship for this role. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Ideal candidates will possess a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar technical degree/experience. Programming:
Familiarity with at least one cloud-native programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Ansible).
Tech Savvy:
Awareness of up-to-date cloud technologies and industry trends related to business challenges.
Team Player:
Excellent collaboration skills and adaptability in communication styles.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills that effectively engage and persuade.
Additionally, you should be a self-starter, enthusiastic about working directly with clients, and capable of leading projects independently. Highly Desirable Experience deploying solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, or Google Cloud.
Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CNCF, AWS, Azure).
